Visualise your putting stroke for greater success
Practice swings can be a contentious issue because many people routinely take them, slowing down play, with no real real reason. Because of this, we are wary of recommending them.

There is, however, one place where they can be a significant help, and that is on the green - with one important proviso. When you take your practice stroke, look at the hole, your target. Then make sure that your practice stroke is the same length as the one you will need to get the ball to the hole.

This should improve the distance you hit your putts and make sure that if you don't hole them, they will be close enough for tap-ins.
