Opening hours for shops and most relevant facilities are generally 9am-5pm in all towns. Convenience stores open from 8am until 10pm-midnight and there are a large number of roadside garages/petrol stations such as Esso, BP and so on open 24 hours.
Pubs typically are open 11am to midnight in most towns with 1am-3am the norm at weekends, particularly in the bigger cities.
