| Time For A Round? |
Being so far north, Scotland enjoys extended daylight hours throughout the summer months.
From late May until early September it starts to get light at 5am and does not get dark until 10pm. For golfers it is perfectly feasible to go out for a round after an early dinner, weather permitting.
Generally golf clubs open for business between 7:20 and 8:00 am. Some of the first morning tee times are reserved for members and this might be the same in the early afternoon. Weekends are different, however, so the golden golfing rule in these cases is to check in advance with each individual club.
